"Scientist of the Year" award ceremony was organised in cooperation with the Union of Central Anatolia of Türkiye (İÇAN) and Azerbaijan World Correspondents Union news website. On 19 October, at the ceremony held in Altındağ Historical Kabakçı Mansion, Prof. Dr. Gıyasettin Aytaş, Faculty Member of our Department, was awarded the "Scientist of the Year" award for his contributions to science in his field.

In addition to İÇAN President İsmet Taş, academicians, educators, bureaucrats, press members, civil society leaders, poets, writers and artists attended the ceremony.

The Scientific Board and Award Determination Committee, consisting of academicians of our university, support and jury successful services in order to honour people who are effective in every field in 2023.

We congratulate our faculty member Prof. Dr. Gıyasettin Aytaş and wish him continued success.
